Redbud Lutheran Church

Welcome to Redbud Lutheran Church. We are a community grounded in the belief that God’s love is a free gift for everyone, a gift that liberates and inspires us. We are a place for the curious and the committed, for those with deep-seated faith and those with deep-seated questions. Here, we strive to live out what Martin Luther called “a living, daring confidence in God’s grace”. This confidence doesn’t mean we have all the answers. It means we trust that God is with us on the journey—in our worship, in our service to the city of Raleigh, and in our relationships with one another.

This community is intentionally built to be a place of radical welcome. Regardless of your age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, political affiliation, physical or mental ability, or socioeconomic status—you are not only welcome, but you are wanted here. Your presence enriches us, and we invite you to participate at whatever level feels right for you. We follow Jesus, seeking to build a community of justice, love, and mercy for all.

The design of this digital space, like our physical one, is meant to be an act of hospitality. For many, the idea of “church” can come with baggage or suspicion. Our commitment is to be a community where those barriers are gently dismantled through transparency, authenticity, and a clear dedication to justice. By leading with our values, we hope to signal from the very first click that this is a safe harbor, a place where the foundational ELCA belief in God’s radical, unconditional welcome is not just a slogan, but a lived reality.
